Actress Juliette Lewis is set to join Chris Thornton, Mark Ruffalo and James Franco in Ruffalo’s directorial debut “Sympathy for Delicious.”
Ruffalo recently broke the news to MTV News, but he did not specify what role Lewis would be playing in the dramedy written by Thornton. The story of “Delicious” takes place in Los Angeles and focuses on a paralyzed disc jockey who mysteriously becomes a faith healer. Ruffalo plays a Jesuit priest who helps him explore his new gift and accept its limitations. Franco jumps into the role of a rock singer.
Lewis was last seen in “Catch and Release.” She recently wrapped filming for Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut “Whip It!”

Since I have taken over the site I have gotten so many requests for a myspace page. So if you have a myspace please feel free to add Juliette-Lewis.com!
Sorry for lack of updates here. I recently got the new ftp. As you may have noticed the site changed hosts. We are now hosted by the wonderful Fan Sites Network. Now on to the update. We have a new gallery theme up! I hope you all like it. Get ready for a flash back. I’ve added all the public appearances from 1991-1999.

This, despite becoming a movie star with her Oscar-nominated “Cape Fear” performance in 1991.
Lewis’ edgy, offbeat charisma bounded off the big screen in hits such as “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,” “Natural Born Killers,” “From Dusk Till Dawn” and “Old School.” She even dated Brad Pitt.
Still, Lewis is not what you would call a Hollywood starlet, and that is a blessing.
Paparazzi? No problem.
“I’m not really their cup of tea,” Lewis, 35, says from her cell phone as she strolls on Broadway near Spring Street in Manhattan. “I don’t get in those magazines with questions about what kind of lip gloss I wear.”
That outsider status makes for good rebel rock music.
I ran across this beautiful photoshoot of Juliette and had to add it.

I found out I won’t be moving just yet so updates will resume as usual. Here is some news on Juliette’s new movie Whip it!.
A new comedy film about female roller derby is skating its way to Birch Run Township Monday.
Crew members from the Drew Barrymore-directed movie “Whip It!” have began production at the former Ken’s Diner on M-83 just north of Birch Run Road.
The movie, which stars Barrymore, Ellen Page of “Juno” and Juliette Lewis, began filming in Texas and Southeast Michigan in late July. Page will play an ex-beauty pageant contestant in a small Texas town who sneaks off to skate in the Austin roller derby league.
Hollywood crews transformed the Mid-Michigan former diner into a fictional BBQ restaurant called the Oink Joint. “Whip It!” location managers told TV5 they will be closing M-83 down off and on during shooting.
I will be moving very shortly (the 15th of this month) so I will be without internet for a short while. There will be no updates until I get back. Don’t worry the site isn’t going anywhere. I will bring everything up-to-date when I return. Thank you for your patience!
